A membership program driving cost savings for consumers and speeding up Wolt’s expansion from food to retail

Back in 2021, the Wolt team embarked on a mission to bring more affordability and convenience to our customers. We wanted them to enjoy a seamless, frictionless shopping experience across a vast selection of products, without worrying about delivery fees. This would not only benefit our customers but also drive more business for our valued merchants, creating a win-win for all.

The result? Wolt+, our membership program offering 0€ delivery fees (and more!), was born.

It was tested and eventually first launched in the Czech Republic, Poland and Georgia. And ever since the early days of Wolt+, we have been focused on bringing more savings and benefits for our members, and forming partnerships with big and small enterprises to cater to the needs of every customer.

Wolt+ today, tomorrow, and beyond

Fast forward two years, Wolt+ is available across most of our markets, offering our customers savings and frictionless access to their cities from restaurant food to groceries and retail.

Wolt+ members have saved over 70 million euros since Wolt+ was launched and it has driven additional sales to over 75,000 merchant partners across a vast array of sectors.

Wolt’s recent Local Commerce Survey highlighted the significance of platforms as growth engines for local businesses. In 2022 alone, over 3 billion EUR in total sales was generated for 120,000+ merchants through Wolt’s platform and this is only set to expand. Wolt+ is excited to play a significant role in the merchant growth journey.

And now, in the aftermath of the holiday season, when household budgets are stretched thin, the significance of affordability and supporting businesses is bigger than ever.

Introducing Wolt+ weeks

As we continue to think of ways to always innovate for our customers and partners, we are proud to launch the first ever edition of Wolt+ Weeks – a multi-week discount campaign across 14 markets* in January, tying in with the celebration of the second anniversary of Wolt+.

Offering thousands of members-only discounts across hundreds of brand names, this campaign reflects our dedication to make daily essentials as well as indulgences even more accessible after the holiday season. We’re excited to offer members-only savings from partners such as Joe & The Juice, McDonald’s, Subway and Wolt Market, for three exhilarating weeks!
